This is blast from my past. In the early 1990’s, I was fascinated with graphics software that would render fractals. This is one example out of thousands. I would setup computers to render batches of fractals. Those batches would take days to run. At that time, it was high-end stuff considering that the only computer capable of handling video was an Amiga.

Fast forward to now and the fractal software is amazing! Much different from what used I used to render fractals.
Another surprise is how fractal math has found its way into our everyday lives. That deserves a deeper conversation.
